April A. Wolfe is a professor of nursing and the Nursing Program coordinator at the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie.
She began her career in healthcare at the early age of 16 as a volunteer firefighter and medical first responder in Eutawville, South Carolina. At 18, she earned her EMT certification and worked as an EMT while earning her nursing degree. She is a registered nurse, a certified paramedic and has a master's degree in nursing.
